Celebrating Another Year of ADHD and Me

Raising awareness of all things ADHD! - ADHD Another yr of Awareness

What a year it has been. As we come to the end of 2025, I wanted to take a moment to look back at what this little corner of the internet has achieved. ADHD and Me has welcomed tens of thousands of visitors this year and more than three thousand came through Google alone. That number still blows my mind. It also proves something very important. People are looking for ADHD information that feels real, personal and actually lived. Not textbook explanations. Not clinical jargon. Just honesty mixed with humour from someone who understands the chaos from the inside.

I note that the other week, I saw someone share their personal story of their ADHD diagnosis on their local authority healthwatch, stating that they used the medication watch part of ADHD and Me to source their medication. Stories like that remind me of why I started this website. If just one person can gain something…information, validation, the feeling of not being alone in it, then that in itself is amazing.

“I never thought when I started this blog all the way back in June 2021 that it would grow into what it is today. I am so proud and extremely thankful.”

And it was not just the website growing. The podcast gained thousands of listeners this year which tells me people want ADHD talk that feels human and straightforward. You have no idea how much that means to me.

Now some of you might be sat out there thinking this website is run by a whole team of people. Spoiler alert: it is not. The power behind this website comes from just one woman; me. You know me as ADHD Girl, but I am also a mum, an author, a school governor, a community cafe volunteer, and amongst all those things I have ADHD. That is why this website is not perfect, and you know what? I do not want it to be. I want it to be a place where ADHDers can come and not be scared off by overly professional visuals or jargon. I want it to be a place where professionals can come and see the people behind the masks and what goes on in the life of someone with ADHD on the day to day. Most of all, I want it to be a place of hope. The hope that one day ADHDers will be seen, heard and validated.

So here is the plan for the new year.
We are relaunching the podcast in January and our first episode features a returning guest who proved incredibly popular the last time they came on. I am really excited for that one. I also want to finally get the ADHD awareness training off the ground. It has been sitting in my notes for far too long and your support this year proves that it is needed.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for caring. Thank you for reading, listening, sharing and showing up.

I want to take this time to wish you all a Merry Christmas or a Happy Holiays, and wish you all the best for the year ahead. Catch you next year ADHDers and Allies!
